Life is special
Life is a very special gift,
given from one greater than ones-self.

because once is all you need.

So many times souls abuse it,
but when in need no-one will refuse it.

No Prayer Goes Unheard
Often when we pause and wonder
When we kneel down to pray-
Can God really hear
The prayers that we say--
But if we keep praying
And talk to Him,
He'll brighten the soul
That was clouded and dim,
And as we continue
Our burden seems lighter,
Our sorrow is softened
Our outlook is brighter-
For though we feel helpless
And alone when we start,
Our prayer is the key
That opens the heart,
And, as our heart opens,
The dear Lord comes in
And the prayer that we felt
We could never begin
Is so easy to say
For the Lord understands
And gives us new strength
By the touch of His hands...

When I Am Reminded
Each day is a new beginning given by God
I am reminded how blessed I am as this road I tread.
A new friendship comes to mind and it is my treasure.
Watching a child at play is my greatest pleasure.
Being able to help a fallen soul will
be my greatest joy.
Watching a bird build a nest while the
world searches for rest.
I am reminded I am only a small part of his plan.
When skies are blue or gray you are always there beside me.
I am reminded of God's love at the site
of a rainbow after the rain.
When I see the flag I'm reminded of the
freedoms I share.
I remember God's love to me when I
suffer much pain.
As the clowns come to town I am grateful I'm able to laugh.
I'll share your heavy load to let you
know I care.
I am reminded day by day we have much to share.

Ten Guidelines From God
1 Quit Worrying:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Alternatively, do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?
2. Put It On The List:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I cannot help you until you turn it over to Me. Moreover, although My to-do-list is long, I am after all... God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of many things for you that you never even realize.
3. Trust Me:
Once you have given your burdens to Me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me.
Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials.
Problems with the kids? Put them on My list.
Problem with finances? Put it on My list.
Problems with your emotional roller coaster?
For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.
4. Leave It Alone:
Do not wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now; I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It is simple. You gave Me your burdens and I am taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Don't you trust me!
5. Talk To Me:
I want you to forget many things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I am in control. Nevertheless, there is one thing I pray you never forget. Please, do not forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.
6. Have Faith:
I see many things from up here that you cannot see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I am doing.
Trust Me; you would not want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much bigger task than you do, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?
7. Share:
You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget?
That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you are. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who have not heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.
8. Be Patient:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences.
You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, and rush.
9. Be Kind:
Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dresslike you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical.
Please, know I love each of your differences.
10. Love Yourself:
As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself?
I created you for one reason only -- to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me.
Love your neighbours. Also, love yourself. It makes My heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Do not ever forget...

you gave me strength to make it,

May this encourage you always.
Don't spend major time with minor people. If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values and don't give their backing during difficult times...that is not a friend.
To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyle.
When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life.
Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure.
Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens:
Chickens Can't Fly!
I love the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, therefore, I'm passing this on. Yes I do love Jesus. He is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and everyday...... Without Him, I would be nothing.
Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things. Phil 4:13
If you love Jesus, Be Positive - Be Progressive - Take the time to make a positive difference in someone's life.
Walk by faith
Not by sight
Receive God's blessings!

Prayer's are the Stairs
Prayers are the stairs we must climb every
day, if we wish to reach GOD we must read
the Holy Bible and we must pray.To know GOD we must pray, there is no other way for
us to learn about GOD and his loving plans
that he had for us through prayer.
So bend your knees,bow your head,and lift
hands up to all mighty GOD in prayer, for

I'M DIFFERENT
I maybe poor as you can see
Am not as pretty as those I meet
My clothes are old and am in need
My feet are bare and sometime bleed
My hair is nappy, I have no perm
My job is hard sweat fills my brows
The pay is small, can't feed us all
But I know a man who answers my calls
This winter was long, I lost my heat
My children are young, we have no meat
My husband is gone but not from this earth
My heart is heavy, sometimes I thirst
The world has turned it's back on us
They wait in vain for the blowing of my dust
My love for him has never changed
I know a man who's in charge of all things
To be so poor and multiple needs
I know one day he will answer my plea
Am blessed beyond what you can see
My God has given me all my needs
So don't look down on poor little me
My God in heaven has set me free
He's lifted me off of my bending knees
and showered me with blessing only I can see.

Dear God in Heaven above
Today is the day that You took someone we love
We know that we need not worry
Because Your there with him with open arms
Dear God in Heaven above
The man that stands before You was deeply loved
Although it seems like it is the end
Now the memories of him shall begin
Dear God in Heaven above
We are here today with sorrow and grief
But when we look up toward Heaven there will be a sence of relief
Because the man before You is in a better place
Today is not a day of death, but rebirth
Because he lived a long and healthy life here on earth
So on this day we will look back no more
Because on this day we know he's with You, Jesus Christ our Lord
The man that has left us he will truly be missed
For all that knew him we know that we were blessed

I was once told that as time goes by
Everything changes with no reason why

As a warrior
I am a warrior who holds the key to my path
For it is I to choose left or right
I can clear the hindrances and obstacles
With the right belief and strength
For such warrior, there is no fear, and no holding back. I know as a warrior, I do not give up, but go to the path I chose. Right or wrong. For I have a purpose.
For that reason I live.
Battles I face each day of my life.
I have more losses than wins
But as a warrior in life I know that
The only way to success and salvation
Is failure. For I now know, to beat the enemy. I must endure and be in defeat
As a warrior, there is no success at all times. For at defeat of my enemies I then hold advantage. I have suffered, and endured defeat. For this time I will not make the same mistakes, and stand back up against them all. As a warrior I desire more to fail. So I'll be able to see my wrong and learn tactics to defeat my enemies. For I know failure is not the end, but delineates the area I have lacked in my battles. For I am a true warrior!

For this time I will not make the same mistakes, and stand back up against them all. As a warrior I desire more to fail. So I'll be able to see my wrong and learn tactics to defeat my enemies. For I know failure is not the end, but delineates the area I have lacked in my battles. For I am a true warrior!
Working Man's Hands
A youngster watches his dad falling from the sky
He jumps off the roof to fall like Dad
The little boy sees his dad come home dirty and tired
He rolls in the dirt just to look like Dad
His dad is the best in the world and his only hero
His dad races him across the street and lets him win
As he grows up he knows not all dads are like his
He knows he's a lucky boy to have a dad like his
His dad had hands of steel and was as strong as an ox
His friends said his dad was the coolest dad of all
He looked at his own hands and wished they could be like Dad's
He lived life to the fullest with his friends by his side
He lived life like there was no tomorrow just like Dad
His hobbies were cars bikes and chasing girls, they all got him hurt
Soon his hands were also like steel and rough as sandpaper
He prided himself of having working man's hands
What he was truly saying was he had hands like his Dad's
One day right around 10:00, he got the call that broke his heart
He went to his father's side just in time to say good-bye
His father's heart was too big yet too weak to live
He told no one 'cause he didn't want anyone's pity
His hands were just like his father's but his father was gone
On that day it broke his heart, the pain never left
His mind went where it never came back again
His back finally gave out trying to keep up the pace
His hands were no longer like his Dad's
His heart was broke again, never to mend again
His heart was the only thing that was just like his Dad's
His son, the youngest one, would look up to him
His son dirtied his hands and proudly called them working man's hands
His son said good-bye to his father as his dad closed his eyes
